About Me

Well, I rescued an abandoned dog and she became ill and then my dogs became ill and after many many vet visits we finally determined it to be distemper. The rescued dog, Sugar, recovered well and so did one of mine, Blaze. But two of mine are not so lucky, we fought the long hard fight and lost with my beautiful precious Patches, she crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday, Feb 6, 2008 at around 11:00 p.m. and it was the single most hardest things I've ever done in my life, I couldn't leave her so stayed and held her head and repeatedly told her how much I loved her as she left us. It took me over five hours before I could even enter the house again, and I cry constantly for her and for her sister who was close to her and looks for her and cries for her and is confused. Now she really hovers over and takes care of Bitsy fearing she will disappear as well. And then there is Bitsy,she is very very ill and we are trying everything possible and felt we were losing until today when finally saw a spark of life in her eyes again so finally she gave me a little hope again.
