Marsha - Proud mother of a female soldier

I am a Blessed woman that is 42 and a true Florida native ... yes ... all my life. I moved to the Daytona Beach / Ormond Beach area over 7 years ago from the small one red light town of Crescent City, Fl. and have worked in the travel industry since I have been here. God and his son Jesus, my family, boyfriend, friends and spoiled rotten dog are what is most important in my life and I know I have been very blessed in life because of each of them ... the older I get ... the more I truly appreciate them all. I have one daughter and 3 grand daughters (2 are adopted in heart and spirit but they are a huge part of our lives). I am a Christian - I pray and read my daily devotional and know that it is God that gives me my daily strength and carries me through those tough and trying times in life. He also Blesses my life each day. I also love this country in which I was so very Blessed to be born in and support our President and the Men and Women who serve in all branches of our military, that protect us and our freedom. I am very proud to say that my daughter is now a part of our military and is currently completing her AIT training ... WE MISS HER & CAN'T WAIT UNTIL SHE IS HOME AGAIN. She is in the Army National Guard. I am also the daughter of a Korean War veteran ... my dad was in the Army earned The Bronze Star Medal and was a GREAT man. I stand against those who are evil and bring harm to anyone - our country, little ones, the elderly and animals who are all to often unable to speak up or get justice on their own. I also stand against racism of any kind - regardless of what anyone wants to think, God above made us all - no one or no race better than another ... for those of you who think different ... try reading the Bible. I am far from perfect and realize that there is one that will judge us and that we will each stand accountable to one day - and that is God above. I do believe that all people make mistakes in life ... but it is what you do with those mistakes that count ... hopefully we learn from them and become better people. Life is SO busy these days but here are some of the things I enjoy when I have the time - the beach, Nascar - I have 4 drivers that are all my favorites even before Dale Jr signed with Hendrick - Casey Mears (he drives the National Guard car), Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and Dale Jr - so all my guys will be on one team next year - and my favorite thing is being with those I love and care about. I am a firm believer in the scriptures - You reap what you sow and Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
