From the moment the three stepped into the room together and played the first note they felt something special, a musical connection, that none of them had felt in a long time. Louie and Steve had just come from a band breakup and Travis was unsatisfied with his present situation. They all felt the need for a big change. A change not only in their music, but the way they approached it. They decided to challenge themselves, and push their playing to the next level. The songs that followed were special, and superior to any the three had ever performed. The next logical step was to find a singer who could match their ambition. After two strikes, they found Johnny. He arrived at the first practice and felt the same fire in the air that the other three had felt almost a year earlier. He was an obvious match, and things began moving quickly. The band performed their first four songs at the Big Horse in Chicago April 6th, 2006, with less than three months of experience under their belts as a full band. The set ended with a climactic twenty minute improvised jam with Johnny nearly breaking his neck as he climbed chairs and tables. The band left their first show satisfied and craving more. Falling Further is currently working on their three-song demo.
