Joe Cherrygen is a versed, experienced drummer with heart and groove. Flexibility, sensitivity, transparency and rhythmic security in any given tempo are trademarks of his playing true to the quote:

In the course of the years he played with most different musicians and bands like Pete Haycock’s True Blues (www.petehaycock.com), Mark Selby (www.markselby.de & www.markselby.com), Überkings (www.ueberkings.de), Gero Körner - Truth feat. Soleil Niklasson (www.gero-koerner.de & www.myspace.com/gerokoernertruth), Harald Schmidt Show, Jungle (Rosko Gee), Thomas Blug Band, Circle, Urban Funk Triptett, The Stones Tribute Band (www.the-stones-tribute-band.de) and Schäl Sick Brass Band in Europe and Africa. He recorded CDs and Videos, was involved in various television, broadcast and theatre productions and won twice the award of the German record criticism (1996 &1998).
Special highlights for him were the acquaintance of Elvin Jones in 1995.
