Wonder Wendy!

About Me

Overall, I'm a nice girl. I treat others the way I would want to be treated. I do expect fierce loyalty and honesty from the ones I love, and give the same in return. ----READ THAT AGAIN because I'm serious - I don't have enough time on this earth to deal with cowards, people that play mental games, or negative attitudes. If you're one of those people, don't bother me or mine. Life's too short for BS. Carpe Diem!On a lighter note, I am full of useless knowledge; kick butt at Jeopardy, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, and Wheel of Fortune. I'm kind of silly sometimes, and don't take myself too seriously. What you see is what you get!

My Interests

My husband Scott, aka Pat McCrotch (Referee extraordinaire for the Denver Roller Dolls), my 4 kids (7-16), VWs, tattoos, beer, roller skating (derby of course - I'm a skater with the DRD, but I love watching jam skaters too!), books, magazines, researching anything and everything, proofreading crappy spelling and typographical errors, motorcycles, Harley-Davidson's, happy music, sifting through family keepsakes, Google, and uh, hmmm...lots of other stuff I'm probably forgetting.

I'd like to meet:

Any birth family I have left. Full sister, half sister, and half brother...Lynda Carter would be cool, too.

Music:

I like a bit of everything...even country.

Movies:

Office Space, Sound of Music, Heathers, Fantasia, Amadeus, Pootie Tang, Undercover Brother, Caddyshack, SuperTroopers, The Money Pit, The Three Amigos, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Swimming with Sharks, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Shining, Yentl, Fiddler on the Roof, The King and I, The Jungle Book, Bound, Barfly, The Emerald Forest, Band of Brothers, My Fair Lady

Television:

I don't have much time for TV, but if I watch it, it's usually something on Discovery Channel, TLC, or National Geographic.

Books:

I've read too many books to list! I like all sorts of different kinds...non-fiction and fiction alike. A few that I find myself re-reading are The Secret History by Donna Tartt, the Beauty books by Anne Rice (well...anything by Anne Rice, actually...I own all of her books), Watership Down, and The Remains of the Day. I love books and always have--I still have all of my Nancy Drew's!

Heroes:

Real life hero: My Mom - June Ann 1945-1998 Superhero: Wonder Woman!
