The Frail?Four People who's Music & Commitment contradict the essence of this Word.The Frails music is anything but weak and unsubstantial. Instead being powerful, hard hitting and from the heartFormed in 2005 in the small Town of Secunda in Mpumalanga by a group of musicians looking to make there mark in the South African music industry the frail have been gutting it out since then. There have always been Hurdles in the way of the band being from a small town where there ain't many like minded Musicians.
But they never let these Obstacles get in there way. Instead embracing them which have made them a tighter unit.The last few years have seen the band grow from strength to strength starting in small local clubs playing to a handful of People to Playing to hundreds of people at Woodstock and at many other top Music venues across the Country,gaining a legion of fans and the respect of there peers along the way.2007 saw the band really finding there own sound , redefining what they thought they where, this is where they started pushing themselves as Musicians and allot of hard Work into creating there own signature sound.This Hard work paid off, The band began work on their Debut E.P "A collision of hearts" they teamed up with Jared Gunston of Chromium fame to Record the cd.The First song which was recorded was a song entitled "Follow The Road"
and was released on numerous sites on the web The song gained rave reviews and Caught the attention of Witchdoctor Records. The band entered into talks with the label and signed there deal with them in December 2007In October 2007 the band parted ways with long time Drummer Jonathan Christie, This brought on a search for a new drummer.In November they found there new man in Troy Mitchell Formally of Dismortal a amazing drummer who was no newbie to the scene.In December 07 the band released "A Collision of Hearts"2008 sees the band embarking on there biggest adventure yet, The band have started writing new material for there Debut Full release ,
This sure to be a big year for the band so keep your ears and eyes open this is surely something worth waiting for...........
