Sang in the choir, made love to a six-string electric guitar, and found a mentor in DJ Quick. Instead of rapping about G-life, I decided to pull from old favorites—Curtis Mayfield, Aretha Franklin, Frankie Beverly—to create a smooth, smart, Cali sound that tells the truth, but still lets you enjoy the ride.Over the last decade, I have spent half my waking hours in the studio, producing and collaborating with DJ Quick, 2nd II None, Suga Free, El Debarge, Chico Debarge, James Debarge, AMG, Hi-C, Warren G., Big Steel, Sly Boogy, Cam and Mr. Mike Live (93.5 kday).Also performed live on dozens of regional and nationwide tours, along with 2nd II None, DJ Quick, and Ginuwine.Have written, performed, and produced six studio quality hip-hop singles. This is the start of a full album of hip-hop and other styles of music, featuring established artists.
