Blue pigs get the kick!!

About Me

I'm an unabashed dork. I love watching educational television, especially The Science Channel. I love video games and especially like the vintage stuff. I have nearly every incarnation of Nintendo system and many others of all brands as well and I'm always looking to increase my collection. I recently increased my rank in the echelons of dorkdom by becoming a Star Trek fan (original series only) a show which I actually used to hate. I guess I equated low production value with low entertainment value, which is an odd string of logic since I'm also a fan of the original Transformers cartoon and have been since I was a toddler. I had a dinobot when I was three that I used to feed graham crackers. I like Star Wars too. And just for those who like to fight over which of the two is better, I think you're all petty lifeless fanboy jackasses. If the only cause you have the passion to fight for is which movie or TV series is superior to the other then I think you might need to take a look at your life and sort out your priorities. I've been described as both an asshole and an overly nice push over, so I don't know. You can make up your own mind on that. I also work for the police department (as a dispatcher) something I NEVER thought I would do being someone who really is not a fan of authority.. Anyway, I don't know what else to say. I just thought my profile might need an update so that's all for now.Oh! And as a post script, I absolutely despise fake and disingenuous people who are not true to themselves or other people. Don't be a social chameleon. If you can't be you, what's the point of being?...

My Interests

Videogames, The Discovery Channel and its many off shoots, cartoons, books, alcoholic beverages, Legos, Happy Meals, classic movies, The History Channel, cats, public radio, pirates, The BBC, dinosaurs, Transformers (The originals not that regurgitated crap they have now),music on vinyl (nothing beats that classic crackle) and Trying to avoid those annoying jump up your ass sales people that always ruin my Hot Topic shopping experience (Just because I'm buying a MegaMan t-shirt does NOT mean I want a MegaMan wristband and matching shoelaces! And DON'T tell me how cool my shirt is as if you give a fuck, because you don't, and that makes two of us.) - ha ha sorry about that. there are many other things that catch my interest and don't make me go off on an angry rant, but I can't think of them all now.......

I'd like to meet:

Someone in Iowa Park, Texas who knows at least three compound words, can read beyond a 3rd grade level, has all of his teeth, and does not have an unhealthy fetish for NASCAR, burning crosses, George W. Bush, or TobyKeith.

Music:

I really like most anything, except most country and rap. My favorite genres are rock/alternative and classical. I really like some independent stuff too....

Movies:

Let me just list the ones I don't like. It'll be easier that way.Anything with Vin Diesel, the American Pie movies and movies of that nature, James Bond , (Except Casino Royale, though Sean Connery is the man too.), and new horror movies starring Paris Hilton or Sarah Michelle Gellar....

Television:

On the rare occasion that it's not on merely as a sleep aid, I watch the Discovery Networks, Public Television, and The BBC. When I don't want a free education, I'll watch Adult Swim, IFC, or G4 Tech TV (Videogame Television, bitches!)...

Books:

Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit,The Life of Pi,I am a Cat, and amazing graphic novel called "Blankets" that I recommend you find and read.

Heroes:

Starscream, any of the non-Ringo Beatles, Tex Avery, Chuck Jones, Andy Kaufman, Severus Snape, Johnny Cash, Nobuo Uematsu, Lewis Black, Tony Clifton, Gene Kelly (Don't Laugh! That bastard could dance!, Captain Walrus of the Cosmos, Captain Obvious and many others that I will list later when I am not so sleep deprived
