I came to love Jesus at the age of seven, and at the age of seventeen, I found myself in love with Him. He is the best husband in the world, and he taught me how to be a lady in waiting. Just as the people and the elders said of Ruth, "The Lord make the woman...", that is exactly what God has done for me. God alone, holds the key to my heart, and until He relinquishes it in the care of the one He's chosen to love me through, it will remain in His possession. I had someone to ask me recently as to why I was still single. My response was that I have asked God that question too, and His response to me was a resounding wait on Him!!! So in my wait, I'm focused on God, focused on ministry, focused on caring for my parents, while following God's lead. So I faithfully remain and await God's promised union for me, in His heart's choice for me. Now that's worth waiting for, no matter how long the wait is!!!Meanwhile, I'm my father's caregiver. Six years ago, the Lord blessed me to complete my doctorate, just before my father became ill. Not knowing that my father would become seriously ill, God allowed me to go some places I wanted to go and to accomplish some things I wanted to accomplish.I have three siblings who help when and where they can, but the bulk of our father's care is on me. Our mother does what she can for her husband, but I care for her as well. Being that our father is bedridden, I thank God that our mother is mobile. Our father's body is confined to a bed, but his spirit soars.I remember, like it was yesterday, firmly looking into the faces of eight physicians telling me that there was nothing else they could do for our father. I told them that I understood their medical point of view, but my God has one of His own, "My father shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord." It's been more than five years now, and our father is still here. Praise the name of the Lord!!!!My life, sometimes, feel like it's on hold. You know, we're still in the flesh, and we have those moments when we seem to feel everything at once. I said to God, "When do I get to resume my ministry, when will I have a family of my own, when, when, when, when,.......when Lord?"God begin to speak to me, and He let me know that he had prepared me for this great task. He let me know that my ministry was not going to be boxed in the pulpit. God said, "Resume your ministry? You never stopped your ministry because caring for your parents is ministry." As for a family of my own, I know it's just around the next corner...

My Interests

Some of my interests are reading, movies, poetry, writing poetry, nonfiction writing, plays, musicals, bowling, and praise and worship through dancing before the Lord.

I'M TALKING ABOUT THIS THING ALSO THAT YOU FEEL IS LOST TO YOU FOREVER, IS NEVER LOST TO GOD. HE KNOWS WHERE EVERYTHING IS THAT HE'S PURPOSED AND PROMISED FOR YOUR LIFE. GOD IS SAYING THAT, "I WILL DO THIS THING ALSO", THAT YOU FEEL IS TOO LATE FOR YOU NOW. SOME OF YOU HAVE PLACED EXPIRATION DATES ON YOUR ALSO AND SOME HAVE ALREADY BURIED THEIR ALSO, BUT I'VE COME TO TELL YOU THAT GOD IS RESURRECTING YOUR WILL TO BELIEVE HIM FOR THIS THING ALSO. YOU'VE IMAGINED WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE TO HAVE THIS THING ALSO, BUT THE BEST YOU CAN IMAGINE THE FRUITION OF THIS THING ALSO, IS NO COMPARISON TO THE OVERWHELMING FULFILLMENT OF ITS REALITY...

I enjoy gospel music in different genres, as well as music with a positive message. I listen to the words of a song; so when or where it's necessary, I can interject Jesus' take on the subject. I also love singing and writing songs.

Movies:

My area of interests in movies are action, drama, true stories, love stories, sci fi, and comedy. I enjoy life and life around me, experiencing each day in the fullness that God has prepared for me...

I'm shifting gears, changing lanes, and repositioning myself for what's around the next corner. My God!!! talk about your "Rush Hour". I see you changing lanes too.
