At the end of the day, I Think a person is what they always think about. If you could read my mind right now you would find that I’m always thinking about God and the love he has shown us in the Lord Jesus Christ! I was once a man that cursed God and believed that if he was real he had to be really sadistic to let this world exist with all the evil death and pain that’s in. I would always shout up at the sky and say, “if you are real come out and show yourself†One day God did just that and God showed up! I’ve been in love with him every since and I want everyone to know this great love that’s been revealed to me as a result of Christ coming in to my life. I want to be a pure and clean light for the Lord Jesus Christ. One thing I’ve always struggled with is how to choose the right friends and my space has made that much more complicated. On one hand I want friends that feel the same way about Christ as I do and who’s pictures have a Godly appearance. On the other hand I want to be a friend to someone who needs salvation just like I once did even though his or her appearance may be a little risky. I want to be a friend to the sinner but I’m concerned about what the righteous would say. However, if am afraid to show the love of Christ to someone for fear of what man would say than I am still in bondage. Which should I choose? Hmm.. I think I’ll choose to be a light to the world and I hope that is what you will choose also.
I also have a great love for the Body of Christ, The True Church. I want so much for us to be whole, healthy and mature and to agree in what we say and believe. Paul appealed to the believers in Corinth to do just that so that there would be no division among them. Does that appeal apply to us as well? Of course it does! We have divided Christ into groups, but I believe we can and must turn this around.
The Lord Jesus Christ in John 17:21 Prayed this prayer, "I pray that they all may be one, Father! May they be in us, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they be one, so that the world will believe that you sent me." (GNV) This implies that we can't be a proper witness to the world until we come together as one.
I believe the True Church would desire to see the prayer of our Lord Jesus Christ come true! Some believe that this is and impossible task, but I don't. Remember saints, all things are possible with God, so lets pray BIG and teach the Word in context.
God really opened my eyes and brought me into a greater understanding of his word then I disciplined enough to stay in a book such as Ephesians or Romans long enough to understand what the writer meant when he wrote it. If we as The Body just did that one thing we'd be on our way home.
