Band Members: There's a time to ride with a pack & every now and again a man's got to go it alone. I've rode with some of the best for years but right here, right now I need to ride ahead a bit farther down the road and find the right path. I reckon it won't be too long before I double back and pick up a kindred spirit who may be on the same path but till then I'll ride alone as plain ol Coz
Influences: When you walked some miles - coast to coast - you're influenced by every sound you hear, every story you read and every moment you survive. I'm influenced by every step I've taken and survived. My 3 musical heroes have all passed.

Chris Whitley - for his poetic lyrics and haunting resonator, he went to that great divide far to soon but the body of work he left behind will take years to unravel but the journey through this man's artistic soul

Ted Hawkins - for The Next 100 years with a voice as rough as whiskey & gravel and soulful as the years he lived. I saw him 2 months before his passing and I'm honored to have shaken his hand and had a minute of his time.

The only man who should ever wear black has had just as much influence on my life as he has my writin'- Mr. Johnny Cash for his plain spoken honesty & storytelling. He lived by his own words and was humble enough to fail. His stories may be have been told but they could never be lived by any mortal man.

They all lived their own lives and they wrote their own stories. Some abstract, some literal, some just told stories they may have lived had their road turned different. I do my best to live my life and I do my best to tell the story. Sometimes you live 'em sometimes you make 'em all up but if you live in the moment of the emotion you've created it as honest as a child.
Sounds Like: Well I got sound samples for cryin out loud so you tell me what it sounds like. I reckon I sound like a guy playing country mountain banjo blues bout this or that. Sometimes I like playin' all alone and sometimes I like findin' some players to pick along.
