About Me

My Interests

Bass guitar, Music, History, Theatre, Politics, Kids, Sports (particularly Football),Reading, Entertainment of any kind, Interesting women (smart and confident), Cooking, the Ocean, Movies, Philosophy, Swords, Production, Motorcycles, Video games (yes, I admit it), Different Religions, AND POSSIBLY THE CONQUEST OF MY OWN SMALL CARRIBEAN NATION TENTATIVELY CALLED "DOUGLASLAND"

I'd like to meet:

Teri Hatcher in a quiet restaurant... Al Franken in a dark alley... Brian the "Family Guy" dog for Martinis... Walter Cronkite on a book tour... Osama Bin Laden on his way to the gas chamber... a slammin' drummer with great feel, that drools out of both sides of his mouth (so I know the stage is level)... a rocket scientist named "Candy"... any straight white person that can actually dance... and your sister.

Music:

Lets start Old School.... Led Zeppelin ( How do you grow up without Zeppelin?) The Who, The Doors, Janis,Deep Purple, Then on to Progressive Rock...ELP, Yes Rush, Jethro Tull, Wordy Singer Songwriters like Elvis Costello, and Darkness era Bruce Springsteen....On to the ultimate party band Van Halen (who spawned the era of exess, and an era I mostly don't remember the 80's!)Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Yngwie, Dio, Whitesnake, Crue...We were the generation that introduced tattoo's and piercing... Every Rock & Roller Had long hair, leathers, chrome, and looked like an extra from "the Road Warrior".Every hot chick wore fishnets, heels and a micro mini ( basically even good girls dressed like a prostitute from Jersey) It was the law! Hoow much fun was it? Well,m we were the last generation to have sex at will without fear of dropping dead afterward...Yup We ruined it for the rest of you....Quite naturally this lack of sex leads to the flannel and brooding of the 90's (abstainence evidentally will do that to you)... on the bright side Alice in Chains, STP, and a return to roots came out of it. Now in the new millenium I'm digging Audioslave, Nickelback, and a general return to the underground Punk and Heavy Metal ideals of the days when I was playing... In short I have Jazz Classical, Blues, Rock, Doo-wop, Dance,Urban, Metal, and more in my collection...
