So what is it? you ask....
The Canterbury Four family (Dad, Mom, & Daughters 11 & 8) built the C4 Volksrod in 5 months, February- June 2007. We channeled 4 inches out of the body and chopped it 7 inches. The rear part of the roof is off of a 67’ VW Bus. The sunroof was custom built for us by Street Beat Customs . The doors and rear quarter panels are off of a 75’ VW Convertable. The front beam was extended out 8 inches - from Peg Leg Metal Works . The engine was done by Wolfgang International . It is a their 1600S engine with dual Weber carburetors. All the metal work and interior work was done at our home workshop. Car is registered as a 1962 and is only 38" tall. It has now been in 4 magazines worldwide.
Keep checking back as we start on the next project. 1922 Buick Sedan with an inline flathead 8.
