I am into just about everything. Ever hear the saying "jack of all trades, master of nothing"? Well, I would be the former to be honest. Ive always had a love for details. I like puzzles, biology, hair, nature, stones, metaphysics, cultures, philosophy, theology, psychology and various other "-ologies"Really I guess this all just boils down to the fact that I am interested in all aspects and corners of life and death, space and the lack thereof. I also have an interest in hating my kitten. I know, I never thought id say it either. But really, hes horrible. On the left is Fluffy, and right is Pinky and the Brain (as named by Cyn) I stole her picture as I do not yet have pictures of my babies. Aren't they precious?
I would like to meet people with creativity, intelligence, class and self-respect."The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle"
I like a little bit of everything. Most of my favorites seem to fall into metal (of all varieties), industrial, classical, and blues. Lately I have had a deeper love for black metal and spanish classical. Just about every major genre is represented in my music collection.
I have a soft spot for classic horror and zombie films. A couple new found favorites are Crash and Tsotsi. Other movies that I am highly fond of include: Mrs. Henderson presents, the squid and the whale, shakes the clown, pans labyrinth, arsenic and old lace, blues brothers, four rooms, and there are so many more. I will also admit a love for animated disney films.
Shows I like are planet earth, deadliest catch, cash cab, metalacalypse, so you think you can dance, house, bones, ugly betty, good eats, most evil and lost. I have been watching more tv lately than I would care to admit due to lack of motivation. Informative shows are the best. Tv can be a good thing.
Reading has always been one of my favorite things to do. Ive read a lot of books, so here are some of the ones that stand out the most to me. The Mists of Avalon, The Lady of Avalon, The Forest House, The Wheel of Time series, Beowulf, Dracula, Canterbury Tales, Sir Gawain and the Green Kight, Fahrenheit 451, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Hobbit and its following trilogy, the entire book of Poes works, A Victorian Anthology of poetry, Watership Down, Many of Shakespeares works (outside of school even), works by Charles Baudelaire many books on magic, the occult, history, nature, various religions, and architecture. I think my favorite book thus far is Something Wicked This Way Comes... I loooove the writings of Bradbury. Ive read a ton of other books, but those are the ones that I can remember and find relevant. Ive read too many to remember Currently I find myself with a few books in which I like to bury my head and get lost in: Are we hardwired?, the elegant universe, the feeling good handbook, a winters heart, gothic, and the one i write in.
I have had people that have inspired me but none that I hold so high above others.
