About Me

My two biggest passions are music and philosophy. Within the world of music is the means to an endless spectrum of emotion and experience – the ability to experience and express worlds or thoughts that have not yet taken a physical form or things that have limited tangibility outside of one's own mind. I listen to a wide range of genres but the ones that touch me the deepest are Black Metal (particularly Atmospheric Black Metal) and classical music. I play keyboards and a bit of guitar and am currently going to school for audio production. As for philosophy, much is to be learned from the contemplations and beliefs of mankind – theories that have substance and those that do not – each points to a useful logic to be learned from or the lack of logic and the need for the majority of humanity to lie to themselves. I have found the most interest in the fields of Existentialism, Buddhism, Epistemology, Nihilism, and Skepticism. I have very few beliefs but one of the few that I have is that a person can know nothing for sure unless they scrutinize it. I spend much of my time in a sort of trance – either induced by thinking or by listening to music that is particularly invasive.I prefer messages.

My Interests

Music, psychology, philosophy, nature, poetry, and others.

I don't have much of a preference just so long as the person is honest and open and at least somewhat talkative.

Music:

Emperor, Judas Iscariot, Xasthur, Burzum, Abigor, Blut Aus Nord, Mütiilation, Darkthrone, Immortal, Bathory, Chopin, Dvorak, Shumann, Tchaikovsky and many others.....I am not going to bother posting a string of names

Movies:

Horror movies that are nightmarish and atmospheric. Anything that is deeply emotional or makes me think.

Television:

TV in general is a waste of time and mindless generic crap that molds our society into nothing but mindless idiots who emulate their televised Gods. I watch it very sparingly.

Books:

I have an interest mostly in reading psychology and philosophy - Existentialism, Buddhism, Behavorial Science, Skepticism, Nature vs. Nurture, etc.

Heroes:

I don't believe in idolizing anyone and I see such behavior as a sign of weakness. I believe in taking influence rather.
