Hi there, and welcome to the world of..The Sex Act is a solo project by me - I am Jon Meade....I dig interesting tones, phat synths, and tankbombin' bass riffs..I live next to a railway in east london and my sleep is splattered with goods trains at 3 am. I dream of wandering through buildings and city spaces, listening intently to the sounds of urban space, the humm that keeps it all ticking along.
I love oscillators and ring modulators...I look forward to the day when these become mainstream pop instruments, and will endorse them at any given time.
Previous bands include Geiger Counter, Rothko, Lomax though TSA sounds nothing like em. When you work by yourself, either you stumble onto something you actually wholeheartedly love with all your body, end up in convulsions around your room, then put something down into your Logic environment, or you take endless walks around town attempting to find the seed with which to grow your thing with - luckily it's been a good year to find those tones that get me hot..
Builders of Men will be the first release on the fabulous Destructible Records, and we look forward to unleashing it sooon
