About Me

I think scrolling text is rather annoying, don't you?
I'm a superhero by night, work as a recording engineer by day. You can find my partial discography on allmusic.com Or you can ask me who I've worked with. Or you can see a partial list on myspace.com/silverbackaudio I freelance, so hell yeah, I'll record and/or mix your music stuff anywhere you want, your place or mine. Or someone else's place. For money or bribes, that is...Actually got off my ass for once and I'm starting a couple of companies, namely Larrupin Terrapin (indie label...not up and running yet), Silverback Audio (music production & engineering company currently looking to record your musical genius) and Prawn O'Graffiti (a graphic/website design company). I have two more companies in mind, and that should be happening soon (entertainment company & promotion/booking/management). Lofty ideas, I know; hope I don't go nuts! I write and play guitar in a band, Slow Dither . check us out.

I love traveling, and I'm up to 20 countries so far: Wales, Ireland, Italy, SWEDEN, Denmark, Switzerland, Scotland, Germany, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, Norway, England, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Czech Republic, Holland, and I stepped foot into Canada. barely. then i kinda was shown the door. I was born and raised in Cali (california love, but I sure as hell don't want to move back unless I'm rich), lived in AZ, MA and now TN. Giddy up. I love languages. mild days and cool breezes cheer me up. i double-majored in music theory & composition, and music production and engineering, at Berklee College of Music, but don't hold that against me. I like to write, in case you haven't figured that out, essays to stories to poetry. Oooooooowaaaaaaaaugh!!! (Don't Ask...) I'm into history, the SCA, medieval re-enactment, swordfighting, learning new things, etc. I'm into darker side life, but I'm still a happy kinda guy. I hate being told what to do, unless I'm working and it's my job. Am I sick? hmm...the jury's still out... definitely twisted...

My Interests

maispeis (jaja), Taser The Gnome, camping, canoeing, hiking, swimming in rivers or lakes or beaches, eating, traveling, reading, ART!, Kingdomofloathing (i can't believe it, but hell it's funny...), writing music, PLAYING AND LIVING MUSIC, writing in general, the Society for Creative Anachronism, languages, people, humor, life, SPORTS!!! (Lakers, SF Giants, 49ers, Titans, Predators, Notre Dame, MTSU Blue Raiders, UT Vols, and to a lesser extent, Vandy, Stanford, Grizzlies), love talking for hours over nothing so long as it's interesting, and i love laughing :D tell me a joke! Animals (they're tasty!), naw, just kidding, i love falcons (not the team), killer whales, wolves. I wish I could have a mongoose cause Riki Tiki Tavi ate snakes for breakfast. Sweet! I like setting stuff on fire. I set my office chair on fire. The pneumatic cannister popped and scared the shit out of me. haha :-)

I'd like to meet:

2 or 3 snow leopards. Maybe some cougars. People that are into music management, music promotion, booking, bands & artists, graphic design, photography. People into traveling, writing, history, etc. blah blah blah. Just don't be an ass. I would love to meet people that want to fly me out to work for them, sayyyyy a studio in Capri, Spain, Sweden, Australia, etc. I wanna meet everyone. Oh, but if you send me a friend request and I don't know you, you might want to send a message first. I hardly check the request thing. It's like the dead letter office. Only worse.

Bird brains.

There’s a robin banging his head against my kitchen window/kitchen wall. I poked my head out and he saw me, then stopped. At least until I looked away. Then BAM. BAM. BAM. Weird.
