Got triathlon?

About Me

Triathlon tickles my cute little heart. In fact I am fairly sure that it is the cause of the arrhythmias I get sometimes. Triathlon has improved my life in so many ways. I get so much out of training. It gives me something to look forward to in the morning. It also has improved my health. I've gone from an obese 22 year old with high blood pressure to a 28 year old who has done numerous triathlons.
I smile all the time. People often comment to me about how much I smile. I think it has helped me through the really tough times in my life. A smile can brighten someone's day. That power is the reason I smile a lot. Well, that and it is better to be happy.
My favorite person to smile at is Josh. He is an awesome guy and my rockstar. He is an intelligent, caring, creative goofball. The funny thing is that I would have never predicted that I would be in a relationship with him. I met him at a time when I definitely was not looking. However, I can't imagine being with anyone else. He is a supportive loving person that makes me smile big and laugh so hard my belly hurts.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

You! I love to meet new people. You don't have to be charming or witty. You just have to be yourself and I will usually think you are someone cool to hang out with.

adopt your own virtual pet!

Music:

I listen to music either on the treadmill or in the car so I don't really consider myself a true music lover. My tastes vary quite a bit, but the majority of what I listen to falls under the categories of hard rock, alternative, dance, electronica and metal. My favorite songs usually have a good beat. Also, for some reason, I like male vocalists better than female. At the moment, my list of CDs are Safri Duo, Juno Reactor, Tori Amos, RHCP, Snow Patrol, and Tool. Also, I have to plug Zen Vendetta because they rock! Check them out on the Zen Vendetta MySpace page.
