About
When was the last time you heard an unknown local band with a few demo songs that went straight inside yer head ? As for me, I keep in mind that it was when I heard "Lady Mel" for the very first time. Amazing, those five high school lads I used to know have really grown up, transformed themselves into well trained musicians and wrote really brilliant songs.
Vincent Vega, they called themselves. They reminded me what I called diversity in music. Each of their members has different influences. The singer sings like Greg Gilberts meets Drunken Jeff Buckley. The Guitars obviously sound as angry as At-The Drive in, but can be as sweet as Primal Scream era Sonic Flower Groove. The Drum and The Bass, the two are bound together inextricably. Bloc Party-ish or faster cadence of Madchester Roses, translates into impressive art that I really cant explain.
So forget about genre. Forget about the chaotic charm. In fact, forget that if you have seen them before, because they will see you again in bigger venue, bigger crowd, and bigger party. Ladies and Gentleman, I proudly present you precise tunes, exciting scream, and danceable noise by Vincent Vega..
