Growing up in Yogyakarta, Windo and Rinto went to MUHI high school building up reputation as both music fans and guitar players. In 1999 they formed a high school band named Magic Pie. After finishing school in 2000, they formed Dojihatori with their college mates: Virji on bass, Happy on drums and Barik on vocals. The band's name came from abbreviation of theirs (winDO, virJI, HAppy, rinTO, baRIk). Due to study abroad, Barik left the band in 2002 and then Yuma came in 2003. In 2006 drummer Happy was fired due his bad attitude, and then replaced by Pherie soon.Their first musical loves were heavily indierock and britpop oriented. Bands like The Who, Small Faces, Stone Roses, and Shed Seven fixed their cravings for british guitars and vocals. They all play massive parts in contributing their wide influences.Dojihatori have released 2 records. The first EP entitled "Get Out Of Here" released on April 2005, and the LP "It's Too Risky to Take a Day Off" released on April 2006. Both are released by conjunction with Blossom Records, a minor label based in DIY.
