Get your scroller sign at YourCoolProfile.com!Kevin B Shiver A/K/A DJKJ of K5 KJ's first taste of the music biz started in 1979-1980 @ Midway Roller Rink where he met DJ "Smoken Joe Cambel" and was introduced to 12" vinyl that's all it took. Over the next 10 years KJ developed his skills as a DJ. And in 1988 KJ landed a 10 year gig with "JJ Whisppers" and the XL Throw down 106.7. As well KJ had produced a few records with not much success but that all changed in 1995 when he wrote and produced Passion and the band K5 was born. It wasn't till 1996 when passion was released on vinyl and signed to Orlando's Kram Records. K5 also signed to BMG, Universal Germany, MCA UK, Isba Canada, Robins Ent for the US.The two hit signals Passion and Red alert found there way on to the big screen in "Chasing amy." Collectively K5 sold over a million records world wide and was at the lead of the break beat movement from 1996 to 2001. K5 toured with acts from Crystal Method, Prodigy, Planet Soul, The Spice Girls and Rabbit In The Moon. KJ has remixed tracks for artist such as Brittany Spears, Justin Timberlake, The Back Street Boys, Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Jessica Simpson, Tears For Fears, Usher, Michelle Branch and Brandy just to mention a few. Now KJ finds him self remixing and reworking tracks from the 80's to today and keeping bizzzzzy working on his XM Radio mix show KJ singed on as resident DJ at XM Satellite Radio Ch-81 BPM the show is called Air 81 fridays at 10pm & Sundays at 1 am. www.DJKJXM.com Style: Break Beat & Techno/Trance
