About Me

lover of electronica. Everyone always asks what I do.. its not a simple answer. Mostly I am a systems designer for lounges, nightclubs, and theme parks. I am a very capable lighting, sound, and video "architect". A graphic design student and lover of film. My role in my line of buiness is probably one of the most important yet one of the most under-appreciated in the world. We are the "men in black" behind the scenes. HTG more than likely has been the people that made it happen for that epic memory with your favorite artist.Owner of Heavier Than Gravity - a full service production company for events and clubs large to small. Originally got into the music industry thru graphic design and video - which was very hard to do in the early 90's. ***** Have been doing this for a *very* long time. Started off beachside (brevard) on some of the greats Marz, Dimensions, Outerlimits, Impact.. Worked in the scene for years on the big parties; Zen, Usuaya, 55 Deg, Hyperspace and dozens not worth mentioning. Alongside the electronic events I doubled as a audio and service provider to a major production company. I have designed and provided audio services to major events and acts that range from the Pepsi 500 to local street parties. Moved to Orlando about the same time I became more involved in club design + installation. A few of my projects; Bliss, Ohm, Cyberzone, Aura, Tabu, Pulse, Vibe, Ocean Club, FL Theatre/ Graffiti Beach, Carribean Beach Club, Tropical Magic, Bar Orlando, Sanctuary, Roxy, Southern Nights, Matrix + Metropolis, 701, Posh, Ampersands, Oz, Pearl, Pour, and many many more. Its a challenge to be creative over and over again - to do the same thing hundreds of times and make it exciting each time. ***** I have had the pleasure of engineering "live mixing" many many acts. Pretty much every electronic act that ever existed. On the hiphop+dirty side of things I have engineered for Lauren Hill, Juvenile, P Diddy, Trick Daddy, Lil Flip, Lil Wayne, oh hell just about every top artist on 95.3 or 102jamz - many many reggaeton and other forms of "urban"music. Did a couple rock bands too - some oldschool hair bands.. has beens and little bit of every genre' many many local parties with good talent all over the place. I've had to do the guerilla parties on small inadequate systems as well as the massive line arrays you see at arena events. Its all part of the job.I love my toys.. My work is pretty much my life.. altho since orlando sucks musically so bad these days i find myself contemplating why im still here sometimes..yes to all my old aquaintances.. I'm still doing it.. got a bunch of new toys if anyone wants to look ::really:: good on stage :)
