Band Members: TO CHECK OUT my people page, just click my first friend Randy (that's me) in my friends list. All of the music on this page was recorded and mixed at Loghouse Studio.
Influences: MY STUDIO is a 56 track analog and digital multitrack Cubase SX facility that is four feet underground and surrounded by a two feet thick solid concrete foundation, making for a very tight drum sound and live room. There's nothing like stone for drum rooms. The control room has 12 channels of British Tube mic pre's, 8 channels of British Focusrite ISA and Drawmer, and 24 channels of Yamaha DM 2000 mic pre's in a Yamaha Digital Console all kept in perfect time by a Lucid Gen-X 192 Ultra Low Jitter Master Studio Clock.. Direct Injection are from Radial J-48 boxes (I just love those Jensen transformers). Crystal clear digital, or warm analog recording/mixdown is to hard disk. Printdown is to Apogee Gold Master CD, Otari 5050 MKII, Tascam Cassette, or Tascam DAT. Monitoring is by Event Sp8 and Furman 4 channel x 6 individual artist adjustable headphone cue system. Microphone selection is varied and goes from Soundelux, Neumann, Senheisser, and Studio Projects, to AKG tube, Shure, Earthworks microphones, and two crappy Karaoke mics that I got free with the machine.... Connectivity by Mogami and Canare wire. Good tools=Good work. I am going to have some fresh tracks up soon so stand by. Thankxx... Randy
Sounds Like: ROCK & ROLL is supposed to sound.... Good material, great performances, driving beat thats heavy on the kick drum and bass...... A drummer with two kick drums asked me how they sounded. I said "One sounds like a cannon going off in space, the other sounds like a VW backing into a Sears tool-shed." What's wrong with these Producers today? Maybe they have never heard good rock and roll. Here's a good example of what Rock and Roll is supposed to sound like.
Here's one of the reasons that it doesn't.
