About Me

just a simple gal - trying to live a full life of love and wonder. Happily married to my best friend - James. Always in search of good food, good wine, good travel, and great experiences. You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy .COM's MySpace Profile Editor !

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People who realize that there is more to life than this. People who keep striving for a better quality of life for all. People with a vision or a purpose in life. People with a sense of humor

Movies:

Labrynth (David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly - can you get a better match), Neopolian Dynomite, Welcom to the Dollhouse, 12 Monkeys, Being John Malkovich, Cold Mountain, Donnie Darko, Dogma, Fargo, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Devils Playground, Bangin in Littlerock (love quirky documentaries), or any other film with a point, and with a story. For me to like it the film has to either:a)show a different way of life;b)be really creative;or C)make a point. I hate Hollywood -if it's a sell-out then it sucks.

Television:

Deadwood, Carnival, Rome, - really like the HBO series - other than that, I don't watch too much TV - oh, but I love "The Office" cracks me up every time - it's everything that an HR person fears in a manager - and it's freakin hilarious

Books:

I love books - philosophy, cookbooks, reference, classics, you name it - I can spend hours in a bookstore. Not a big fiction fan - but I will make exceptions for great works of art, or artists who are trying to make a point - I really like Dickens, Steinbeck, and Rand
