Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life

About Me

I am originally from Chicago and moved to Dallas, Texas in February of 2000. I moved back to Chicago in June of 2003 and then back to Texas where I have lived since September of 2004. Both places have been good to me thus I list them both as Chicago/Texas. Ok, now that your no longer confused, more about me. I'm just too young to remember how young I am..I mean it's a mind thing, right? Ah..the unmistakable value of wisdom one has, right? That Yoda dude, now he's one cool cat or whatever the heck he is.Let's not get off track, about me, a Chicago boy through and through, you know, from the land of "Da Coach" Ditka, Da Bears, Da Bulls, North Avenue Beach, Ginos Pizza, Dalilah's Bar on Lincoln Avenue, Wrigley Field, my beloved Cubs (The bastards have cut my lifespan by 20 years with all the suffering), The Blues Brothers, The Red Line, The Blue Line (No I'm not talking hockey), The South Shore Train Line, The Skyway, The L, El Famous Burrito, Carsons, The Cubby Bear, Hi-Topps, Clark and Addison, Hot Dogs (With NO catchup!!), Old Style Beer, Greek Town, China Town, Little Italy, The Sears Tower, The Hancock, The Chicago River, Museum of Science and Industry, The U-505, Navy Pier, Grant Park, Wacker Drive, The Alley, Demon Dog's (Sadly it's gone), Wind Chill Factors, Biograph Theater, Lincoln Park Zoo, Water Tower Place, Palmer Hose, Depaul University, Mc Cormick Place new and old, Congress Hotel, The band Chicago,.....you get the picture!A transplanted educated Northern boy who's lived in Chicago, Baltimore, and Dallas. Laid back, open minded, and easily amused by other people...well not always. I'm just on this planet to have a good time while I'm here, my motto is "everything works out regardless how crazy it may immeadiately seem, and it does...this I know...so don't panic kids..it will all work out..have faith.I love baseball and one of these years, hopefully when I'm still alive, the beloved Chicago Cubs will manage to win a World Series, actually thats the condition of my life, my life will be complete when the Cubs win it all...guess I'm gonna be one old son of a......Where are you hiding Steve Bartman! Heck..I already met my favorite player as a kid, Steve Garvey, and he was way cool, now please God just once and soon in my lifetime, let the Cubbies win it all, ....please.....pretty please....I'll be good...I promise...I'm a man of my word. Do it for Ron Santo..he's already lost two legs..may not be anything left of him before too long. I heard Phil cavaretta is still alive..then do it for him too..and for Jim and Donna cuz their cool too. The moral of the story is..or the valuable lesson of being a Cub fan is..that being a Cub fan prepares you for eveything and anything in life. 1908..thats a long time..2007 marks 99 years since they last were champs..Damm! One More thing, if you want to be added as a friend then send me a message, communicate, talk, you know make an effort to know me because I'm not about adding random people who submit friend requests just for the sake of it.
