LUCAS is a musical outing by long-time friends L. and Gib. Since meeting in middle school, the pair have a history of scattered basement recordings. In 2006, they decided to finally record a proper album.
So, they teamed up with engineering dynamo Jamie Carter of CarterCo Recording and went for it. With L.'s songbook AND his pocketbook, Gib's relative on-timishness, as well as Jamie's studio prowess, JET.SET.READY.GO was recorded and will be released in the Fall of '08 on Artistic Empiricists.
Well aware of their roles on the pop landscape, LUCAS have crafted a handful of songs about loves lost-and-found, chance encounters and the connecting flights in-between.
