Mild mannered executive by day...
I work for a lovely publishing company in NYC called Vault . There, I peddle my wares (.. media, mostly) to colleges and universities around the world.
... professional wrestler by night!
I trained at the American Wrestling Alliance (AWA-NJ) in Union City, NJ -- I've been at it since July of 2005, and have loved every single second of it. (Well, the injuries aren't necessarily enjoyable, but you get the idea.) Once you're in that ring it's a whole other world... and I'm honored to be a part of it. I'm now lucky enough to be working for some outside promotions around the Northeast (see a list down at the bottom of the page, this side, OR refer to my calendar on the right side of the page for upcoming appearances), so if you're up for an evening of uconventional entertainment, check out my calendar and come on out!
I enjoy being a theater geek...
I'm a triple threat. If you know what that is, you probably are one, too. Rock on.
Wait. A chick who plays video games?!
Yes, there are some of us equipped with ladyparts that do, indeed enjoy games other than the Mario series and Tetris. Accept this as fact. Become one with it. If not, then please feel free to hand over that controller and be *housed* in a round of deathmatch Halo... and if you even *think* about swiping that sniper rifle to my left, you're SO done.
My Wishlist will also clue you in on what I'm into... check it out!
I'd like to meet:
* Celia Cruz (la reina de la salsa y del guaguanco)
* David Hasselhoff (I promise I wouldn't hassle him!)
* Jonathan Larson (may you rest in peace -- thank you for creating the musical that brought musical theater back to the forefront)
* King Solomon
* Chairman Kaga (of Iron Chef)
* the cast of The State
* Jose Marti
* whoever decided that individual bottles of water would be a great idea to sell (BRILLIANT)
* Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat (my favorite wrestler EVER -- ever since I was about 6 years old, at least)
* Idina Menzel
* Jesus (Me, Jesus, and a bottle of wine... how I'd love to hear his thoughts, then hand over a holy megaphone to be heard the world 'round while he tells the misguided people who fight in his name that he was a man of PEACE.)
* Vince McMahon (I'd like to ask him what he hell he's thinking these days)
* The Frugal Gourmet Jeff Smith (RIP, Frug -- the guy who got me hooked on cooking...)
* Jake "The Snake" Roberts (the man has the best handle on ring-psychology I've ever witnessed)
* JD Salinger
* Stephen Colbert (How do I love thee? Let me count the ways!)
* Jon Stewart
* Bill Maher
* Conan O'Brien
* Michael Moore and Bill O'Riley (both at once -- it would be a trip)
* My future puppy, which I plan to name Matilda (wrestling fans will know why) and which will look like this:
* ... and other intersting folks with odd senses of humor (as I'm often told this is what I possess) and open minds and hearts.
Oh, yeah... and people who own llamas. Just because.
And remember...
