i am a new york transplant living in seattle by way of summit county colorado. in new york i was a sax player. there, i was in Flay of Soul, a rock funk extravaganza with choreographed moves and pyrotechnics: we gave a big bang for the buck! over a span of six years we played many great gigs in the northeast including such places as the cat club, the palladium, kenny's castaways, and the china club where we were the house band for the pro jam for a year. while there i got to play with some great people, one of my favorite nights is when i played a set with willie green, tony hall and eric struthers while they were touring with the neville brothers. in a moment of exuberance, and to the shock of our drummer keith crupi, i accidentally slapped tony hall in the face while we were dancing on stage (tony loved it). special thank you to willie green who came and found me amongst the mayhem the following night at central park's center stage to get me into the sold out show with an all access pass so i could watch the show from the side of the stage. going through a life change or something i left new york and moved to colorado and dove into snowboarding and alcohol. there i began to write and sing and obliterate... after six years of mountain life at 10,000 feet and falling short of obliteration, i needed to get back to a city and a coast. not feeling up to the pace of new york after my recreational readjustment, i decided the west coast is somewhere i could recover, heal, etc. while working on molding a singer/songwriter out of myself amongst the newage/buddhist/self-exploring/hipsters. i dig it here, it is a beautiful part of the country... that's enough for now, i need a soy latte (we do have the best coffee)!ok, i'm back... i run a once a month gig at On The House on Capitol Hill that features artists doing there thing... it has been singer/songwritiers so far, however, the room has a dvd projector and a large screen for visual artists and the small stage that would also be very cool for one acts as well as other performance art... the night is called 'Third Thurdsays at On The House', and it happens, well, every third Thursday of the month... please send a message if you would like to perform there... i think it is the best intimate venue in Seattle!I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4 text-..; text-transform:lowercase; font-family:Georgia,sans-serif; }table table table, div table table{ border-color:rgb(145,146,92); border-style:ridge; border-width:1px; background-color:rgb(228,232,37); }table table table table, div table table table{ border-style:none; }A IMG{ border-style:none; } a I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.1
