About Me

I’m the singer and guitar player in a band called HALIFAX.I was born on December 2nd 1985 in Westlake Village. Growing up in Southern California I found my first love in the 4th grade “Surfing”. Two years later at the ripe age of 12 my dad put his Guild 12-string acoustic guitar under my arm and showed me 3 chords. I could barley get my arms around it, but I felt an instant connection that I’d never felt before with the guitar and with music in general. I was in love and am even more in love today (Thanks Pops!). In high school I found it hard to get the motivation to go when all I wanted to do was surf big California waves breaking in my back yard and create new music on my guitar. At the age of 17, music started to really take over my life. So, I thought why not make it my life. I stopped going to school with the plan that I would get put into a continuation school where I could graduate faster than everybody. It worked! I did 2 years of school in 2 months, grabbed my guitar and microphone and went on tour with my band HALIFAX. We’ve now released an EP and a full length CD, Toured the World, appeared on MTV’s The Real World Austin, and won 2007 MTV2’s Mountain Dew Circuit Breakout. On July 1st we go back into the studio in Austin, Texas to record our second full length. I’ve never been this excited for anything in my life. When I’m not on tour, I still find my ultimate peace of mind in the cold Pacific Ocean surfing the perfect California surf
