It all started during the Fall semester of 2007 at the University of North Texas when two random men were chosen to live in a dorm together. It so happens that those two very men are the sole members of Lane & Paul. Through that time period, the two created a comfortable niche, not only in the physical walls that made the room, but also in the boundaries within their music. What was to follow is best described by an appreciator of the music who said 'You guys don't have just one sound. I could name off 3 bands and there would still be moments when your music could not logically be compared to any of them.'Lane & Paul are a working band and are looking for as much help as possible in obtaining shows and being heard and appreciated.
