A lover of music and the arts, I have been very blessed to meet and work with many talented people who have each touched my life in different ways. My hope is that someday I can pass on some of the knowledge and love that has so freely been given to me. Until then, I will continue to tinker with the piano, play my flute, sing, write, etc. I love music too much to ever really give it up. As for the rest of my life, I'm still trying to figure that one out, but, things eventually come together painting the portrait of your life, so I look forward to living the rest of it to the fullest.
Life is good. No more trying to fit into a mold that someone else thinks I should be in (especially when it doesn't fit too well...that can hurt! lol).
In addition to music, I love life, travelling, movies, sunsets, photography, poetry, chocolate and good times with good friends. I love the feel of a soft fall breeze with a hot cup of coffee or tea. I love simple moments in time that you happen to capture with your eye, like, say, how the click of a person's shoe seems to dance to it's own rhythm and rhyme. I love how dramatic the 'eyes' can be, they are keys to the soul, yet they don't reveal everything. It's also interesting to see the sunlight dance through different trees. Dancing is something I used to do, I love it still...it's a form of expression that will never die...There's an old saying that I heard once, it goes something like this: 'If you can talk you can sing if you can walk you can dance'...I believe that to be true, at least to some extent. I believe in the power of true love and prayer...miracles still exist; I believe in the power of good rest, a renewed sense of body and self. I believe that the people with the ugliest attitudes are actually so alone, whether they want to admit it or not, they're not comfortable with who/where they are in some way, shape, or form. I love color, texture, light patterns, and space, fabrics, lines, circles and sounds...anything that one can use to create an expression or a statement. Afterall, for most of us, having positive avenues for expression is a must. Check back I may add some more, but for now this will do. Blessings of peace and joy to each of you!..
