About Alphaeratz
Alphaeratz is a star which belongs to both the constellations of Andromeda and Pegasus. It symbolizes at the same time the crossing of paths and fate. Alphaeratz is a band playing extreme progressive metal music with black metal, symphonic, thrash and many other influences. Out of their energy, malefic or hopeful atmospheres comes a subtle combination between human strengths which are sometimes dark, sometimes brilliant. An insurmountable duality!
As far back as 2005, guitarist composer Benoît Nemouchi and singer Lysias decided to look for talented and ambitious musicians in order to form Alphaeratz. The search took a long time, filled with auditions and numerous meetings... Eventually, the guitar player Frédéric Doré came to them some months later as well as drummer Xavier Rose some two years later. Even if they are still looking for a bassist, the Alphaeratz machine was on its way! They shot the video for "Inverted Lives", directed by Mathilde Coquoin in collaboration with IMC-Normandie (Cinema Careers Institute) at the end of Septembre 2007, and then in January 2008, they recorded a 2 tracks demo in a studio.
The fate of several people who like this kind of music constitued a real constellation of artists for whom the common aim is to do the best job possible.

The band is at present preparing their 1st album as well as setting the stage for their show.
At the end of March the clip of « inverted Lives » will be released on Myspace.
Alphaeratz is still looking for a bassist.

A propos d'Alphaeratz
Alphaeratz est une étoile commune aux constellations d'Andromède et de Pégase. Elle symbolise à la fois la croisée des chemins et la destinée. Alphaeratz est un groupe de metal progressif extrême ayant des influences black metal, symphonique, thrash, et bien d'autres. De l'énergie, des ambiances maléfiques ou remplies d'espoir, un mariage subtil entre des forces humaines parfois lumineuses et parfois sombres. Une dualité insurmontable.
C'est à partir de 2005 que le compositeur guitariste Benoit Nemouchi et la chanteuse Lysias décident de chercher des musiciens talentueux et ambitieux pour former Alphaeratz. La recherche fut longue, les auditions et les rencontres nombreuses. Se présentèrent enfin à eux le guitariste Frédéric Doré quelques mois plus tard, et le batteur Xavier Rose au bout de deux ans. Même s'ils recherchent toujours un bassiste, la machine Alphaeratz pouvait démarrer. Ils tournent le clip Inverted Lives, réalisé par Mathilde Coquoin , en collaboration avec l' IMC-Normandie (Institut des métiers du Cinéma) en fin septembre 2007, puis en janvier 2008, ils enregistrent la demo 2 titres en studio.
La destinée de plusieurs personnes aimant ce style de musique a constitué une véritable constellation d'artistes n'ayant comme point commun que de faire le meilleur travail possible.
ALPHAERATZ est né.

Le groupe est actuellement en préparation de leur 1er album ainsi que de la mise en scène de leur spectacle.
Alphaeratz cherche actuellement son bassiste.
