FOR HOLLOW PROMOTIONS AND SECRETS SHE KEPT.
Secrets She Kept was created by Necrol in late 2001. Shortly after, in 2002, the 3 song demo "Symphonies of Eternal Suffering and Damnation" was recorded and self released. After many great reviews, Morbid Souls Music decided to put out the bands next effort. In early 2005, "Requiems to Midnight, Woe" was finally released. Prior to the release, members Didymus Judas (bass), Mjolnir (drums), and Satorn (guitar) were recruited to begin performing live shows. Later, Mjolnir left the band and was replaced by Trigrammaton. After multiple US tours, and securing opening spots for bands like Dark Funeral, Enslaved, 1349, Monstrosity, Diabolic, etc., the band was contacted by Frank Watkins of Obituary in 2007 and soon after he became the bands manager. In early 2008 members Satorn and Trigrammton left the band. Necrol and D. Judas went on to record a, as of now unreleased, demo with Steve Asheim of Deicide on drums. Necrol doing all guitars and vocals, and D. Judas on bass. Since May 2008 SSK has continued to play live and tour through the use of session members. The name Secrets She Kept was meant to be deceiving and meant NOT to reflect the sound of the music, like so many other bands within the genre. Secrets She Kept, in addition, does not claim to be "kvlt" or "true" in any way, shape, or form. Any labeling or comparisons to, or as, any of these titles is coincidental and not the views of any one involved with SSK.
