About Me

What to say about me. . . I was raised in California and love it there. Even though I'm a California girl living in LA, I'm an outdoor type. I love camping, fishing, hiking, basically getting lost in the forest and finding my way home. I like to work where I can be creative and get my hands dirty- anyone who knows me and my dad knows that that's where I get it from. If you don't know how to fix it or have the right tools, then "mickey mouse" it.I also like girly stuff too, my favorite color is pink. I love getting all dolled up and most of all I love to bake. I after all hold awards for my cookies and apple pie;-) And microwave peanut brittle, but that's another story.I currently have an apt in LA, but have spent most of this year on the road. I'm currently on tour with the radio drama "TOP SECRET." It's been a blast and I'm visiting some new states. By trade I'm a stage manager and event coordinator. My life is at a point where I am making some big decisions on job choice and where to live. For now . . . I'm just enjoying my time on the road and loving the opportunity to see more of the US and meet new people. If you are on my myspace then know I am thinking of you and always love to hear from you. I will try to keep this more up to date as the year goes on.

My Interests

Camping, horseback riding, photography, travel, DGA, special effects, stunts, medicine, OSHA, and search and rescue.

I'd like to meet:

Stan Winston- he's my idol.Friends, I miss you guys, call me or email sometime.

Music:

I'm not particularly good at playing any instrument, except the recorder. I have always been a singer.

Movies:

Serenity, anything Disney- but The Little Mermaid and Lilo and Stitch rank pretty high. Ocean's 11 and 12, The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, Jurassic Park 1-3, Superman, Never Been Kissed, A Knight's Tale, and one of my favorites Ever After. Oh so many more, these are a few I always could watch.

Television:

FRIENDS, LOST, ER, Macgyver, Monk, Firefly, Iron Chef, Psych, and Will and Grace. I love movies- my dvd collection is crazy these days.

Books:

Wicked, Eragon, Outbreak, The Hobbit, The BFG, The Outsiders, Cyrano de Bergerac, Twelfth Night, If you Give a Mouse a Cookie, Boneylegs, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Currently reading the Darwin Awards and 1001 things you didn't know you wanted to know- great airport reading.

Heroes:

Honestly my family and friends-- I look at each person I know and can see what amazing things they have done and hardships they have overcome. They in turn give me the strength to aim high and dream big. Heroes are a lot closer to home than one would think.
