My name is Nastasia but most people these days call me Nas for short.. I'm not your average girl. I am a sweetie, a bitch, a smartass, sexy, a freak, someone your girlfriend doesnt like, the chick girls hate, get jealous over, and become overprotectively psycho of their boyfriends. I am confident and know what I am and what I'm not. I live life by my own rules and never settle for anything less. I am a waitress at Hard Rock Cafe and just graduated with my Bachelors in Business Administration from Robert Morris College. I am very music orientated. It runs my life. I promote for bands on a local and nationwide scale. Some names include The Lovehammers , Blackout , Escape from Earth , Heart Set Self Destruct , Madina Lake , Munroe , Counterpunch , Helen Stellar , Second Path , Nothing Forgotten , 8 Per Second , Mindsight , Catatonic , Holding Mercury and many others. I have worked with Indie Record Label named Cupcake Records that was begun by the awesome local band Escape from Earth. I also have been affiliated as a staff writer for The Chicago Music Guide. I do a lot of networking with musicians as well as people in the music industry. Currently I work with TuneAddict Magazine. I am their Marketing Director. My job entails managing the marketing department, creating and implementing the marketing plan, working with advertisers and promoting the magazine. I also am a music journalist for them as well. This job entails me researching and finding local and underground musicians/artists across different regions of the U.S. as well as international. I write and report about them for each issue of the magazine. Please check out my concert calendar below to know which bands I am seeing in the near future. Below is the cover of the first issue of TuneAddict.Besides TuneAddict Magazine I am also focused towards finding my career job doing marketing and promotions for a record label or a company/business affiliated with the music industry. In a perfect dream world TuneAddict would be successful and I could continue being their Marketing Director and the magazine would be profitable and well known. I would also be successfully selling my artwork, doing print modeling for magazines ranging from Splat Magazine to Maxim Magazine and working with paintball team, Team Dissension. I enjoy being involved with paintball and currently work with paintball team "Team Dissension" promoting them as well as some photography.I love paintball boyz and watching em play ball down at the Badlandz. I am also involved with the Ambassadors of Rock Program at Hard Rock Cafe with my friends Claudia, Kyle and Anne. We are trying to raise awareness and be proactive with our time helping the environment, the community, and everyone else in between. I feel it is important to reach out to others and unite as one. We have worked with Shirts For a Cure, Syrentha Savio Endowment and the Cathedral Shelter in the past. I love writing and drawing. I sell all of my artwork. I am a singer who has worked with different bands and djs around Chicago. I create and sing for my own music, perhaps one day I will compose a demo. I am a truly simple person with a big heart and a deep past. I am very grounded and down to earth. I couldnt be a cocky arrogant person if I tried. It is just reflected in my personality because of how and what I went through growing up. I enjoy being outside and taking long walks around the city alone at night. I envision my world in some sort of music video in slow motion. I dance to the beat in my head and love everything about carefree independence.
