About Me

What to say? What not to say, or more importantly, how to say it? I guess I'm just another friendly fellow. A personable chap who in light of even the harshest of circumstances, still manages to come out on top. Well for the most part at least. I enjoy all the usual business; sports, music, cinema, social scenarios, a good lager and that feeling you get when a woman looks at you and smiles. I grew up somewhat locally, the product of New Zealand's small-town community. Life at that time and that age was simple, but it was also grand, granting every of its occupants a world of wealth. Today I'm a Bachelor of Tourism Studies student. So I'll either be co-ordinating activities in your neighbourhood or shutting them down.I have vested interest in not only positioning New Zealand as one of the foremost authorities on Tourism, but in continuing to meet, advise and spend time with every of New Zealand's tourism sectors both on and offshore. I would hope to encourage travel and trade, and in doing so, culminate a constellation of curiosity. Notwithstanding, the Australasian market and accompanying Pacific segments foster some of the finest, most enriching natural and cultural phenomenon this Hemisphere has ever seen. For New Zealanders especially, the country caters to not only the adventurer's driving passion, but to the most affluent, psycho-centric traveller's most illustrious desire, and on our part, we strive to adjoin both this costly commodity with what is so special about our bustling, euphoric scenery. Enjoy!

My Interests

I believe in life we have two options; to become the person we've always dreamed of being, or to become the person we always be to dream. To be all that you could be does not simply require the work of many, but instead the inspiration of few. You could have every fact and every figure, but your answers may not entirely tell the truth, and it is your ability to recognise what rights have been wronged that above every trial and about every triumph, should begin to compliment your very character. And when your morality begins to reflect your judgment, you must then consider that if who you have now become is in fact the person you know you should always be.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone. Everyone. We are here not for ourselves but for each other.View All Friends | View Blog | Add Comment

Music:

Trance and hard dance. Then of course a dose of rock n' roll. My favourite dance artists range from Alphazone to Alf Bamford, Alex M.O.R.P.H to Onova. I'd basically just be listing the producer of every tune I mix on the decks. And when not in the mix, I'm either air-guitaring to Tool, A Perfect Circle, Muse or System of a Down. Metallica and co feature but are not dispatched as heavily as progressive rock. Which reminds me, i'm starting to find a certain amount of feeling for progressive trance. That David West remix of -Headstrong Ft. Tiff Lacey - "The Truth"- was mesmorising. If you havn't already, really give it a listen. Personal interest aside, you should be able to take something from it. A definite shout out to Sean Tyas as well. He plays well, he mixes well and he stands up and delivers some of the finest hard trance around today!

Movies:

Well there's action of course. 'Bad Boys,' 'Blade.' There's horror, or more specifically, sadition, namely 'Saw' and its enthralling sequels. Comedy and romance are likewise up there. And dramatic cinema can often stir feeling. So just produce a decent feature and i'll participate. 'It's All Gone Pete Tong' and 'Human Traffic' were also good pictures. Give em' a gander if you're in the mood. They're well worth the watch!

Television:

I'm not sure whether this makes me a metro-sexual, but 'Nip/Tuck' is actually my favourite show. Following on would be 'The Sopranos,' shows like 'Prison Break,' New Zealand features like 'Moon T.V' and 'Pulp Sport.' 'Scrubs' and 'South Park' could also be included, as well as 'Family Guy' and 'Drawn Together,' and then whatever other show rolls onto the screen after hours.

Books:

I was just recently given two business books. I may actually read them. I guess for now it's just whatever the high school teacher appointed back in the day and those Tom Clancy actioners. They have more profanity than B.E.T.

Heroes:

Superman, Batman and Ronald Mc Donald; no-one has ever addicted more people to food with a smile on their face than Ronald. Good on em'.

A Troubled Future

By and large, the dance industry has revolutionised the way both djs and clubbers alike spend Friday nights. There is no doubt the change has been positive, and the punter's response today is deafenin...
