A sheltered youngster growing up in a small village in the smallest province in Canada dreams of escape, travel, and a life filled with music and creativity. She didn't dream about living in povery while working to make her dreams come true, but is willing to sacrifice a little comfort in order to write better music. Now, here are a few of my favorite things . . .Belgian beer, Australian red wine, hummous, cheesies, paintings, hemp, laying in the grass in the summer sun, waves, playing guitar by candle-light while burning incense and drinking red wine, crystals and stones, the beach, my tent, my back-pack, Merrells, bare feet, drinking tea on rainy days, cooking dinner with friends, smoking before bed, Charlie Kaufman movies, scratchy records, black and white photography, Irish whiskey, Tom Robbins' books, the little fishies, my djembe, mini-lights, dark chocolate of the swiss variety, and dark roast coffee.
