I was born in 1973. I took up the guitar at age 9, learning basic songs
and chords,then at age thirteen I discoverd Hendrix and Led zeppelin and
the Stones.At age 16 i found Satriani and Vai,Which i think along with
Hendrix has been my most important influences.
At age 20 I started Studying Jazz guitar at Korsholms Musik Institut.The first year with Stefan Lindblom,who is an incredible musician.And then 5 years with
Jan Hyöty.Jan had an huge influence on my playing.learning all the
theory back then was so important.
I played in local cover bands,and One that sticks to mind is :The Loop(We had two female singers) At age 17 I also played a lot in church.We had a band and played at sunday service every sunday.At age 22 Istarted teaching theaching at the local musicschool and then on my main job besides gigging has been teaching the guitar.

My Main band right now is:Rosie"s playground.A night club cover rock
band. When we play a Bon jovi song,All the girls run to the dance floor.
I"m fullfilling mý artistry side in my own band:HENRI AALTO BAND.
I"m mainly into instrumental guitar playing.and last year i recorded an
album titled:Colours of life,That currently Jan Hyöty,who now a days
work at the Dee-Kay studios in Vaasa,is mixing.I"m happy if ican
publish the album in August.
I feel like I still have the love for the Instrument "alive".I try to push my self and learn new things.An important factor in life that;i"ve discovered is to take care of my self. I"ve basicallly guit drinking,and started running,which are important things in my life at the moment.So really,this sounds like a cliche;
Keep your self fit.Life is short.
