The power of imagination makes us infinite. - John Muir

About Me

I'm very into music, mostly rock, blues, and celtic music. I play a few instruments - guitar, fiddle, and mandolin. I also sing a mean tune in the shower and have been known to clack spoons until I drive people crazy (so I don't do that anymore). I love NYC, especially downtown. I'm into fitness, nutrition, and anything that makes you feel good long-term. Oh blah blah blah enough about me...

My Interests

I love music that moves me. Poetry. Art. Crystals. Astronomy. Candles. Velvet. Sushi. Second-hand stuff and obscure clothing shops. My sewing machine. Wild things. Middle eastern dance. Fitness - body, mind and soul. Laughter. Sunsets. Soft rain. Inner beauty.

I like watching live *original* rock bands that kick ass, hanging out with good friends, making new ones, and the occasional chaos that comes along...

I'd like to meet:

Fun, down-to-earth people who are comfortable being themselves.
Rockers, dreamers, true believers...

** BEFORE SENDING ME A FRIENDS REQUEST - PLEASE READ!! **

I am no longer accepting friends requests from people I have nothing in common with. If I don't know you, please e-mail me first and let me know who you are. If we don't share common interests I will not approve you...don't take it personally but I don't have time to reply to requests I can't approve.

** BANDS & BUSINESSES: **

I usually don't add bands and businesses unless I have a good reason to. I have stopped adding (most) bands to keep my friends list down. If in doubt, send me a friends request, I enjoy checking out new bands in the genres that I like.

Music:

I listen to a lot of bluesy, punk, rocking stuff, everything from Thin Lizzy to LA Guns to The Ramones to WHATEVER.

I also like a few post-punk bands like the Psychedelic Furs and Echo And The Bunnymen, a habit I picked up from artist friends.

I'm into Delta and Chicago Blues (Howlin Wolf is a favorite).

I sometimes listen to certain Celtic and World artists, depending on my mood and what I am creating, working on, or doing.

Movies:

The Illusionist
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Prey For Rock And Roll
Romie & Michaell's High School Reunion
Better Off Dead
O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Legend
(And anything with Johnny Depp, Gary Oldman, Kate Winslet, or Jim Carey - they are some of my favorite actors.)

Television:

Right now, I'm ADDICTED to Ninja Warrior on the G4 Channel ;) It rules!!

The Queensboro Bridge, New York

"Starry Night" by Van Gogh

My heroes include Tina Turner, Saint Theresa, and this lady right here...

You are naturally born with a gift, whether it be
poetry, writing or song. You love beauty and
creativity, and usually are highly intelligent.
Others view you as mysterious and dreamy, yet
also bold since you hold firm in your beliefs.
