About Me

I rock... Always have, always will! I’m also a true Pisces--sensitive, dreamy, conflicted. I even have psychic dreams sometimes (another supposed Pisces trait). I’m always there for a friend in need. However, if I feel like I’m being taken advantage of, mistreated, or unappreciated, I’ll cut you off. Rock music is very important to me (duh, look at my interests) and I attend many shows (preferably in small, intimate venues) because that’s what makes me the happiest! That, and my family/friends. I can be shy when I meet new people, especially in large groups. Sometimes it takes a while to get to know me. However, if we click, we’ll never stop laughing together and ROKKEN LIKE DOKKEN!
I also love Finnish bands. I gotta have my "Prozac rock!" (Inside joke)
HIM ~ Buried Alive By Love
Negative ~ Won't Let Go
The 69 Eyes ~ Dance D'amour
Some more of my favorite music:
My website which I don't update often enough: www.valerieangelarock.com
This is pretty true about me, except I don't really like grapes. I prefer peaches, or strawberries (chocolate covered):
You Are Grape
You are bold and a true individual. You are very different and very okay with that.
People know you as a straight shooter. You're very honest, even when the truth hurts.
You are also very grounded and practical. No one is going to sneak anything by you.
People enjoy your fresh approach to life. And it's this honesty that makes you a very innovative person. What Color Purple Are You?
Some of my DISLIKES: cold weather, air-conditioning, mayonnaise, caramel, plain milk chocolate without nuts in it or without nut flavor (boring), people driving slow in the left lane, people driving slow period, when people don’t have their Metrocard ready at the turnstile, waking up early, reggae, hip-hop culture, people who make fun of '80s metal, etc. I will add more to this list as time goes on.

My Interests

ROCK, METAL, rocking, rock bars, the '80s (best decade for music), glam, "goth n' roll," "love metal," going to concerts, meeting bands, watching videos on VH1 Classic, all things purple, chocolate desserts, ice cream, DONUTS, tree nuts, tea instead of coffee, Italian food, mom's cooking, dogs, driving stick, NYC, East Village, visiting L.A./Hollywood/Sunset Strip/The Rainbow, having fun

I'd like to meet:

Nice people. Cool people. Real people. Rock people.
Really, this page is mostly just for friends and people I already know. Otherwise, please only send me a friend request if we have the same or similar interests. Also, I prefer to add people who live in the NY area (or LA, since I like to visit there). If you live somewhere I don't think I'll ever visit, don't take it personally if I don't add you. I also don't add that many band profiles anymore.
NO REAL PIC = NO ADD, PRIVATE PROFILE = NO ADD (unless I already know you)
I am getting too many friend requests from people with private profiles. If your profile is private b/c you have a stalker or whatever, at least send me a message with your friend request and then maybe I'll add you.
Also, very important:
NO THUGS or THUG-WANNABES! That is a huge turn-off for me. I do NOT "holla." I only like guys who rock. (And who speak proper English.) If you can't put together a coherent sentence and you talk like you're from the hood (or you just wish you were from the hood--how pathetic), you're getting denied.
