..From Ravenswood projects in Queens,NY to the slums of Shaolin and back, Elijah Miguel a.k.a. "Unknown Prophecy" is no stanger to hip-hop or the streets. A mic veteran of 17 years; he masterfully communicates the solution to the epedemic plauging the hip-hop culture with a prophetic edge. He just doesn't curse the darkness, but he brings forth this new light which eminates through his character in community outreaches, street cyphas, ministry events, tours and open mics. His critically acclaimed debut album "Uncompromised and Uncensored" has touched the heart of the streets and shaken the foundations of a sleeping church. He has ministered at such events and places as Rap Fest, Mcdonalds Gospelfest, Club Pyramid, Club Speed, Clemente's in Harlem, Da Spot 88, Nuyorican Poets Cafe, and the Rock the Block Tour just to name a few. His heart for souls and passion for real hip-hop is a lethal combination.

God breathed life into the Pioneers of the Hip-Hop Culture who paved the way for artists like myself to come out. So i show respect to those who came before me and i also show them the same love of Christ that God has for them.
Sounds Like: The raw voice of an artist who remains true to himself and is still hungry. His delivery is masterful and innovative. With profound lyricism, he paints disctinct pictures from his life experiences in songs which is compelling and grabs not only the attention but the heart and soul of listeners who hear him. To the lungs of hip-hop Unknown Prophecy is definitely a breath of fresh air.
