NO MORE DRAMA!!

About Me

For those of you who don't know me personally, let me tell you... I'm a very true, sincere, loving, free-spirited and kind-hearted person. What you see is what you get, I'm not all about being fake, and fake people get on my nerves. I can be somewhat guarded, but I've been walked all over too many times and learned LOTS of lessons the hard way. I've learned I cannot trust people right away, and that trust is something to be earned. If you give people an inch, they'll take as many miles as they can get, at anyone's expense.I also don't believe in judging people, especially based on looks. I think that people who are judgmental and/or think they're better than other people are idiots. These type of people aren't even worth my time, I refuse to be around that kind of negative energy. IF I even have something to say, it's usually in a constructive way and I would never say anything to hurt anyone's feelings. My philosophy is to live and let live, without judgment. I treat people the way I want to be treated, and I believe that's the way life should be! I also don't take any crap from anyone, so if you dish it out, you better be prepared to get it right back!! It's taken me many years to get to this point but now that I'm here, there will be no turning back!I like to talk a lot sometimes too, probably comes along with the territory being a girl and all...I also love being a mom to my 2 boys, they are the reason for my existence and my whole world revolves around them. ♥♥♥ I guess that's really all I can say for now, if you want to know more, you'll just have to ask!♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥
You Are 76% Girly
You're a pretty girly chick, and you're not ashamed to admit it (or wear pink).
But you're also practical. You can hang with the guys, as long as they're not too gross!
Your Personality Profile
You are pure, moral, and adaptable.
You tend to blend into your surroundings.
Shy on the outside, you're outspoken to your friends.
You believe that you live a virtuous life...
And you tend to judge others with a harsh eye.
As a result, people tend to crave your approval.

My Interests

I like spending time with my boys, scrapbooking, and in general, just anything fun. That could range from vegging out at home to going shopping or to the movies, anything. I love to laugh a lot and anything funny is great!

And if you couldn't tell, I also LOVE Hello Kitty!!!!

Music:

I LOVE freestyle! NOT to be confused with freestyle RAP!! I have been very passionate about this music since I was around 14 years old and will probably listen to it until the day I die. This music speaks to my soul, even defines part of who I am - unique and full of love and so much emotion. My favorite freestyle artist of all time is George Lamond (as if it wasn't so obvious)! I'm also a huge fan of TKA/K7 & The Swing Kids. Sometimes you'll hear me refer to freestyle as HEARTTHROB, although that term isn't widely used anymore.

I also love OLD SCHOOL HOUSE, R & B (mostly from late 80's, early 90's), some classic rock, and believe it or not, even a few country songs. Mostly it depends on whether I like what I hear. I could listen to almost anything, but I will always love freestyle!
I'm a huge PRINCE fan and I also love New Edition, Bobby Brown, Al B. Sure!, Keith Sweat, the list goes on.

I FINALLY found a player that I could put a lot of my favorite songs on!! Yes, there are even some country songs on there, believe it or not!!! Hope you enjoy it!!
***MUSIC PLAYER UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!***

Here are some pics of George Lamond and TKA/K7, and some other freestyle artists that I admire very much ~ enjoy!

Movies:

Romance comedies are my all time favorites! I really don't like movies that have a lot of violence or blood and gore, that's just gross. Although there are SOOOO many movies for me to list that are my favorites, my all-time favorites are Sixteen Candles and A Christmas Story.
Here are 2 of my favorite clips from A Christmas Story:
WOW!!!!!! WHOOOOOPPPPEEEEEE, A ZEPPELIN!!!!!!!!
I also love While You Were Sleeping, 13 Going on 30, and the American Pie movies.
I'm ANXIOUSLY waiting to see if the book, Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, is going to be made into a movie. According to some bigger fans than me, it is being optioned and could potentially be out next year! That would be SO awesome!! How I would love to see that story unfold before my eyes in a movie! A tv series would be even better! If they can make stupid shows like, excuse me for saying this but this is my page and my opinion, BUFFY the Vampire Slayer into a long-running series, I'm QUITE sure Twilight could make it! There are so many fan fics that people have written on this story, I think the possibilities for a story line every week would be endless! **Keeping my fingers crossed**

Television:

ER is really the only show I watch faithfully. I also like Extreme Makeover Home Edition and That 70's Show. Other than these, I don't have a lot of time to watch much tv due to family obligations.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I also got into some of the series that came out over the years, either on tv or cable. Showtime had a show called Dead Like Me on for 2 seasons, but they canceled it. That show was a little morbid, but it was very intriguing, to say the least. To understand what I mean, you'd just have to watch it. I haven't found anyone else who watched it faithfully like I did, so I never had anyone to talk to about it. It came out on dvd and I have both sets so I can watch it whenever I want!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Also, another favorite of mine is Keenen Ivory Wayans' show, In Living Color, from back in the early 90's. I have dvd sets of Seasons 1 through 4 - love it!! ***Season 5 is out now, soon to be added to my collection!!

Books:

I have loved reading in the past, but over the years, time hasn't permitted me to do so ~ family, work, every day life, etc. Lately though, I have found a few books that have sparked my interest ~ I'm currently reading Twilight and the second book in this series, New Moon, by Stephenie Meyer. In all honesty, I have formed somewhat of a love affair with these books, I'm totally captivated by the storyline. I would really recommend them to anyone who loves to read, especially love stories. It's an awesome story and I totally admire Stephenie for her talent! I can't wait for the next book in the series, Eclipse, in 2007, such a long time to wait!! I have recently read Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson, which I also highly recommend. That book was made into a movie, which I just recently saw as well. The Ghosts of Departure Point by Eve Bunting is a great book too. I had that book as a kid and forgot all about it until I found a copy of it in the library. These are young adult fiction books ~ okay, so I guess I still feel like a teenager ~ haha ~ nothing wrong with that!I do also like romance based novels, or suspense, depending on the storyline. It has to be interesting or I can't read it...

Heroes:

My only real hero is my mom, may God rest her soul. My mom was the bravest, most courageous, sweetest and most loving person I will have ever had the priviledge of knowing! I can only hope that I am half the person she ever was. She taught me a lot about life and what kind of person I should be, I hope she is proud of me!I will carry her memory with me always ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥&hea rts;♥I love you and miss you, mom
