FreestyleMania.com started back in 1997 as an idea I came up with as I began to really get back into freestyle music. I, Louie, along with my boy, Mario, began to toy with the idea of creating a site that was 100% real to the genre where anyone looking to find out more about their favorite artists could come and learn more about the music. I knew I was not the only one who grew up listening to this music and wondering where did it go. For those of you who are asking yourself, "What is Freestyle Music?", it was what the peeps back in the mid/late 80s to early 90s called, "Club Music." It was the music that dominated the dance airwaves. With that idea, in late 1999, FreestyleMania.com was born.
For those of you who have seen us grow over the past 7 years, we have come along way from site design, site content and particularly our popularity and growth. We have always been the ONLY site that has always brought you continuous artist news and coverage without a solely base FORUM (bulletin Board) format. Most sites adopt the idea of creating a forum and thats it....that is there site content. We have stood out from the rest and have done interviews, news bulletins, video clips, audio clips, artist promotions....etc!!! We hope that our format and contribution has in some way helped OUR MUSIC continue its development for the next generation of Freestyle Fanantics.
We want to thank you all of you for continously supporting this site and for helping us generate over 40,000 hits a day worldwide!! As a result of your support, we have gain world reknown recognition from international record labels and artists. We have been featured on such compiliations as Fever's Freestyle Flashback Volume 1 & BadBoy Joe's Megamix Volume 4 & 5 compiliations along with appearing from time to time in DMA Magazine's "FreestyleFile" and Groove Magazine's Vol 4.

Live in SW Florida. I like playing Pool. I love my hometown of New Orleans, LA and love going to down to the French Quarter for great food, nitelife, art, history, & just general atmoshere. I love reading about history and love the art of DJing! I also collect hard to find 12" records.
