actually news are just news when the are new to somebody or at least the latest info to be announced as the word "news" is supposed to mean or something.... given facts say that the last news I announced appeared on that page...... what the hell!......... 8 months ago. meanwhile we all INDEED know what that mysterious low-level-noise-guy looks like (if anybody can remember what I was talking about LAST YEAR) .....
so what's really new? I have to say that I am angry with myself. I still haven't managed to get those shitty five songs recorded in october 06 mixed till now. hopefully sitting, waiting and wishing turns out to be worth it. sad to say that there are a few other things on my mind right now, so that there isn't that much time to get things done properly. I'm working on it and can say that I will definitely take my ass to the studio in about two weeks. hope to be able to give you a taste of what is to come on myspace then.

Hmmm....So this is the first announcement after quiet a long time (and it will be the longest of those which are already announced here, I think). There were several things going on that saison. Hell yeah! We've played some great shows (never too much of that!) and have made some serious steps in developing ourselfs blasting the dirty shit of our minds directly in your faces and ears. As if the whole thing was overkill there only could be another side of the coin. So actually this is written to say that there has been a "personnel change" last week. Send this message to the press: "Since 18th August bassist Tobias isn't a part of Beauty Queen On Mescaline any longer." Yap. His decision was hard to manage and at first we thought about chucking up the whole thing. As things normally go their way we came to the insight that letting everything get out of control would be the most stupid we could do. What consequently comes next is the fact that we have INDEED found a new bassist who's name is Senge (it is still a big secret what he looks like, new pics will be up in the next weeks) and who is already privileged to play together with Tom and Gordon in their acoustic side-project.
Now. Spectacular, spectacular. Some might say," What the f**k is he talking about? Looks like things will be as usual!" - Well fellas, we'll see.
The next months will be needed to get the whole group tied up and involve that fancy low-level-noise-guy to make the songs as pushing as they were before. Actually the action is on trial right now. I hope that everything's gonna be alright and we can keep it working. If we feel great the next days, there might be one or two new songs up on myspace in a few weeks. So keep the eyes and ears open ya'll for what comes next. Up to now nobody knows. Matthes
General
The band was founded in 2004 after several members of the group used to play together. At that time four of the five cute asses began to start the first song-writing sessions performing some songs which are actually the basis of the band's live repertoire. Guitar player Tom used to be the singer of the band. After playing some relatively respected performances the band decided to involve the actual lead singer Matthes to go on playing in a five-men-combo. Later in summer 2005 the second guitar player was kicked out of the group because of internal conflicts.
Since the date of the foundation the style has changed from metal and off-beat sounds to more melodical, singing-weighted song-structures. The new sound is defined through wide guitar chords and driving drum rhythms.
