Mike, Eric, Leo, and Dave first met at the Catalina Lounge in Ocean Beach, San Diego, in January, '05. One week later they were playing their first show and have been kicking ass ever since. MELD is an amalgamated mix of the many styles each member brings to the group. From blues to reggae, pop to funk, rock to jazz, MELD likes to keep you guessing that they'll play next.In October, '06, MELD recorded their first LP titled "This & That" combining their first 5 song EP with 5 new songs that completely demonstrate the eclectic blend of MELD's versatility.In January, '07, drummer Leo left the group to go back to school and further his education. In March, '07, MELD found a new drummer with Eric G. Eric's superb ability and competence combined with his wide ranging musical interests make him an ideal addition to our already diverse approach.
