Hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, singer-songwriter and former Underwater Realestate frontman Phil Santos is making a return to the music scene. With tracks like "Chasing Shadows," "Pictures of Me," and crowd favorite "Bitch," the music styling is a mix of acoustic-rock and power ballads, all driven by an aggressive vocal performance
In his solo-acoustic format, Santos leaves nothing on the table - belting out high energy choruses and full-tilt song outtros. Influenced by rock, blues, pop and country, it's hard to compare the overall sound to any one band or musical genre - almost by design. And while it's acoustic, it's definitely NOT coffeeshop.
"I won't be singing anyone to sleep, that's for sure... The music is raw, and real... I give it everything I've got on each song... Singing is an outlet for me and some of these songs have deep relevance in my life - I want the pains, joys, and life of each track to be heard the way it resonates in my soul."
