Scrapbooking, concerts or live bands/music (like my profile song? Go to www.rhinotheband.com (personal friends of mine) and check them out at a location nearest you (I'll probably be there too so let's meet) ;), movies, TV, travel, canoeing, enjoying the summer weather, visiting places like Duluth or WA state (love being by the water, so peaceful, calm, relaxing, etc.,), internet, meeting new people, running to the casino every once in awhile, volunteering/helping those in need, hanging out with friends/family (and their kids if they have any)
I'd like to meet:
My best friend of 16 years, Lia, who lives in Argentina! ;) Bon Jovi, Kelly Clarkson, "the one" (until then I'll settle for "tall, dark and handsome". Ok well blond hair and blue eyes would be fine too!) ;p Seriously, guys to get to know, be friends with, hang out with, date and eventually find "the One" to settle down and have a family with. Must be kind, caring, compassionate, have a loving, selfless heart, great friends, great family, honest and trustworthy (these are both a BIG deal to me!!!!), etc., And wanting to find a little trouble to get into every once in awhile is not such a bad thing;p......... Girls/women to be friends with and hang out, share interests with too...........
Music:
I like everything from rock to country, some rap to some classical (the more well-known) except for jazz. Again anyone out there care to share what you like about jazz and get me to like it? ;) Bon Jovi is an emotional, not to mention, international, worldly, cultural link between me and my best friend Lia!
Movies:
I love "chick flicks", dramas, comedies and true-to-life movies. Horror movies are not really my thing even though I have seen a couple but if that's what you like, maybe you could show me what it is that YOU like about them and get ME interested in them! (Or at least give me a strong, broad shoulder to bury my face into or strong arm to wrap around me and hold me tight, make me feel "safe"!) ;p
Television:
My tastes here are about the same as my tastes in movies: dramas, comedies. I like some of the reality t.v. shows out there just because they are sometimes simply funny to watch ;)
Books:
Honestly I don't read much; I like TV and movies much better but I am trying to change this aspect of myself. When I do read it's mags like People or US. Do read the newspaper or read news on my phone every so often when a headline catches my eye but otherwise I find news or "world events" too depressing nowadays........
Heroes:
Those that have come before me who fought for my freedom and the freedom of others to live in this great nation, those that continue to fight for that freedom and those that have made great strides in getting things changed for those of us with disabilities, physical and otherwise........
