Flying airplanes, Aerobatics, sailboats, sailing, scuba diving, good music, sitting/walking on the beach. Things that put a smile on my face.
Self thinkers, artists, intullectuals, non-confomists', and Mel Brooks.
I'm very particluar about my musical tastes, but I listen to a very eclectic variety. Jungle, ragga, hip hop, downtempo, jazz, funk, fusion, certain flavors of classic rock, certain flavors of 90's alternative (smashing pumpkins, STP, sound garden, etc...) Pretty much anything with some soul and meaning to me. I cannot stand most pop music. If its a song thats played on the radio more than 5 times a day , I probably do not like it.
Independent and foriegn films mostly. But I do like movies that inspire one to think and stimulate the brain.
I'm not big on commercial television (mainly because of the commercials), but I do watch a few shows. Family Guy, Scrubs, Lost, most of Discovery's programming, History channel... stuff like that. However, most of the time I just wait until a series is out on DVD and watch it that way, because like I said... I HATE commercials.
I mostly read magazines: Flying, Plane & Pilot, Private Pilot, AOPA Magazine, Knowledge, ATM, Mixmag, Remix; things of that nature. I also read updated sections of the FAR/AIM every year when it comes out. I do like non-fiction war books. I have the most repsect for the fighters and warriors of yesteryear from WWII to Veitnam and I like reading accounts of their experiences. Oh yes, and the greatest book ever: The Holy Bible
Jesus...thats about it.
