We’d like to invite you to drink cups of tea, come dancing and host a dance for Help the Aged. It's a great way to bring people together whilst drinking cups of tea and raising money for charity.
All it takes is a space to dance, some music, some cups of tea and a few friends! You'll have the pleasure of dancing and socialising, with the knowledge that the funds you raise will help older people living in poverty or suffering from isolation and neglect.
Hosting a dance for Help the Aged is an easy way to get together for a fun afternoon whilst having a cup of tea and helping those less fortunate.
So please, get practising your waltz, dust off your best shoes, put the kettle on, make yourself a cup of tea and request a

"A nice cup of tea song" was written by award-winning songwriter (Joey Parratt also known as) Joe Beagle, who won the first British National Songsearch Competition, judged by Sir Melvyn Bragg, Victoria Wood, & Jake Thackray with his song 'Home is where the heartbreak is' which he performed solo live at the finals held at the Kendal Folk Festival, Cumbria, UK.
Tom played Drums on "A nice cup of tea song", "The very merry Christmas song", "The ballad of a beautiful poem" and "The wibbly-wobbly song".For five years Tom was also the drummer for two theatre productions touring the UK (Vampires Rock and the Meat Loaf Trilogy) playing nearly all the major concert hall and theatre venues in the UK.Tom, who plays in King Elle is Joe's brother and also played in Champion The Underdog and The Beagles with Joe.

Some UK listeners will remember Cathy Evans' critically acclaimed and memorable backing vocals on the 1982 hit single 'Heartache Avenue' by the Maisonettes.Cathy Evans started singing from an early age, entering competitions in Yorkshire. She developed a passion for harmony singing and was a founder member of the successful folk/alternative cabaret group Proper Little Madams.Cathy's most recent project is with The Bovril Sisters who are 'wowing' audiences all over the world at Jazz festivals and venues.Cathy Evans sang vocals on "A nice cup of tea song", "The very merry Christmas song", "The ballad of a beautiful poem" and "The wibbly-wobbly song".
Craig Played Bass Guitar on "A nice cup of tea song", "The very merry Christmas song", "The ballad of a beautiful poem" and "The wibbly-wobbly song" while on loan from Shamus O'Blivion & The Megadeath Morrismen.For two years Craig was also the bass player for two theatre productions touring the UK (Vampires Rock and the Meat Loaf Trilogy) playing nearly all the major concert hall and theatre venues in the UK.Craig, who plays in King Elle, has performed a lot of Joe Beagle's songs over the years and once performed "I've turned into a fish!" when with The Beagles on Channel Four's Big Breakfast TV programme.
