' ....... A NICE LINE IN ELECTRICUTION ....... '

About Me

Chipperfield's Circus, Led Zeppelin, Spike Milligan, Take That and Sooty – these are some of the people Keith has never worked with. Undisturbed, this handsomely-wrapped guitarist, poet and author of perculiar songs has seen active service with the MUTANTS (SEE BLOG), GEISHA GIRLS, AFTER A FASHION, THE EXPLODING HAMSTERS, SPIDER MONKEYS, JEGSY DODD and most recently THE LOVETONES.As a headline act (both solo and with his band THE METHYLATED SPIRITUALISTS), he has toured extensively throughout the UK and Europe, and during a hailstorm of former lives has opened for numerous acts including the Jam, the Buzzcocks, Ultravox, the Police, Big Country, Nik Turner, Paul Weller, Elvis Costello, The Damned, Blondie, The Stranglers, Joe Strummer and Billy Bragg. No stranger to the dressing-up box, Willo has written and performed a veritable smorgasbord of eclectic delicacies for theatre, television, film and radio and has worked for every major broadcaster in the UK and Ireland. Frequently evasive due to his additional commitments as a writer, broadcaster and film maker, his most recent blasts up the cathode ray tube was as co-presenter on Channel FIVE'S crime-busting series 'McINTYRE'S BIG STING' (2006/7) and his current weekly gig as writer-in-residence for SETANTA SPORTS' Premier League coverage (dip in for a fine selection of one-size-fits-all eclectic footie shorts before every live game). In between opening supermarkets and launching battleships, he has managed to complete his debut solo album 'SLIP OF THE TONGUE' with producer Roddie Gilliard of the Muffin Men (for Muffinz info SEE BLOG). Including a full menu of moans, groans and rhythm methods more usually associated with the Karma Sutra, this seductively packaged pot pourri of well-versed aural stimulation is due for parole in April 2008.A CHEESEBOARD OF EDIBLE TRACKS AVAILABLE SOON - WATCH THIS MYSPACE!!Also bubbling under, the eagerly-anticipated travelogue soapy-doc-opera almost poetry book 'IRRITABLE VOWEL SYNDROME' (SEE BLOG) will be blowing its cover and tingling its spine during Summer 2008. Prepare the rubber gloves - 'tis a warm handful indeed. (STOP PRESS !! A dusty trouserful of Keith's sports poetry has been BOOTLEGGED !! HURRAH !! SEE BLOG)A more fullsome biography and a curious selection of exotic flowers and candles in jars can be found casually draped on the lavishly-tooled website www.therealkeithwilson.comDROP IN, DROP OUT AND FIDDLE WITH YOUR OWN AESTHETIC!..
